Who’s Behind It?

Hi, I’m Sean Cleworth, the founder of Gad Games. I run everything in my spare time—mostly evenings and weekends.
This isn’t a commercial studio or a corporate-backed project—it’s a labour of love, rooted in the passion I’ve had for football and PBM games since the late 1980s.

I first got involved in PBM as a player. Then, while still at school, I launched Gad Games from my bedroom. Decades later, that same spirit drives everything we do today.

The Game’s Revival

After more than 30 years, Soccer Supremos is back—faithfully rebuilt from the ground up to bring the classic PBM experience to the modern digital age.

Following a long and detailed playtest phase with dedicated managers from the original era, Soccer Supremos officially re-launched in June 2024.
