L3 | S2 | W12: Richmond march on as Division 4 erupts into four-way chaos
📰 Week 12 in review
Week 12 in the Unreal Academy brought the first round of the Supremos Cup alongside the regular league card – and the combination made for one of the busiest matchdays of the season so far. Across all four divisions, the table picture is starting to sharpen. Leaders are pulling away, relegation candidates are beginning to look stranded, and a handful of clubs are making moves that suggest they have designs on something better than their current postcode.
Four new managers also arrived this week – Luke Finnegan at Harchester United, Muresca at Rotherham Town, Alan Latchley at Crazy Aces FC, and Steven Coupe at Tintagel Knights. Good week to join.
| Division | Leader | Pts | 2nd | Gap |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | West London Blue | 27 | Mighty Greens | 2 |
| 2 | Frenchy’s Dons | 26 | Alveley Wolves | 1 |
| 3 | Richmond | 34 | Fulchester United | 10 |
| 4 | Tantany Rangers | 22 | Brompton Hotspur | 1 |
🏆 Division 1 – West London Blue stay on top, Mighty Greens close in
West London Blue extended their lead at the top with a hard-earned point at Amity Rovers – a 0-0 that felt, given the circumstances, more like a win. Loz Newbold’s side have now gone five games unbeaten and still haven’t conceded a single goal in their last five. That kind of defensive resilience tends to outlast good fortune in football, and West London Blue look built for the long haul.
Hot on their heels, Mighty Greens made the most of a trip to Blackheath Town, coming from behind to win 2-1. Moore opened the scoring in the 10th minute for the hosts, only for the Greens to hit back through Winter in the 66th. Blackheath’s Darcy had equalised just before the break, so this was a second-half comeback – the sort of result that builds character and points in equal measure. The Greens are now a point behind West London Blue with a slightly better goal difference. This title race isn’t settled yet.

|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | West London Blue | 27 | +9 |
| 2 | Mighty Greens | 25 | +6 |
| 3 | Indie Kids United | 24 | +8 |
| 4 | South Park Cows | 22 | +8 |
| 5 | Special Criminals | 19 | +3 |
💡 Indie Kids United slip to third despite a home win over Busby Babes United (Pegg, 40′) – West London Blue’s point keeps them ahead on points if not on goal difference momentum. The top three are separated by just three points with eighteen games to play.
At the foot of the table, Grange Hill Rovers remain marooned on 5 points after another defeat, this time at home to BK Rovers who secured the only goal through Cox in the 8th minute. Leicester Lightening are also in trouble – a 2-1 home defeat to South Park Cows, with McCormick (19′) and Gerblansky (40′) doing the damage, leaves them on 9 points. Neither side can afford many more results like these.
⚠️ Grange Hill Rovers have now gone five games without a win and have scored just 4 goals at home all season. At 5 points from 12 games, they are in serious danger of finishing bottom. The dugout remains occupied, but results need to change – fast.
💙 Division 2 – Frenchy’s Dons lead, but the chasing pack won’t let go
The Division 2 title race remains as tangled as any in the Unreal Academy. Frenchy’s Dons sit top on 26 points, but only after a 1-1 draw at Ravensdale Athletic – Bellini gave Ravensdale the lead in the 43rd minute before French levelled for the Dons in the 68th. Nick Bristow’s side are still in front, but they haven’t pulled clear.
Alveley Wolves, just a point behind, made fewer hard work of their fixture – Andy Pierce’s men beat Kaapstad 1-0 through a Pierce goal in the 49th minute. It was efficient and controlled, and the Wolves’ form over the last five games – four wins and a draw – makes them look like genuine title contenders rather than also-rans.

|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Frenchy’s Dons | 26 | +7 |
| 2 | Alveley Wolves | 25 | +6 |
| 3 | Supremos | 24 | +7 |
| 4 | Camden Town | 23 | +8 |
| 5 | München Biscuits | 20 | +4 |
🔍 Supremos drew 0-0 with Deportivo La Rochelle at home – a game that looked like it might open up and didn’t. Willie Winit’s side remain third and unbeaten away from the Imperium Arena this season (W2 D3). Their away form table ranking is the best in the division. A squad with a 479 team rating that can’t be separated at home is a curious proposition.
Camden Town are making a statement of intent. Two goals from Bullet (44′, 79′) saw them past Chip Spice with relative comfort, and their home form over the last five – four wins, a draw, conceding just once – puts them firmly in the picture. Colesbourne Rangers also put in a solid shift, Corbo scoring twice (22′, 31′) to see off a toothless Trumpton side that have now gone six away games without scoring a single goal.
⚠️ Trumpton have collected just one point from their six away fixtures and have scored zero goals on the road. Stuart Merry’s side sit 16th on 7 points. It is a long season, but at this rate, relegation is a more realistic prospect than survival.
❤️ Division 3 – Richmond are becoming something special
There are dominant sides, and then there is Richmond. Ted Lasso’s team won 1-0 at home to Woodhouse Imperial – Kemsley’s goal on the 32nd minute was, in truth, the least remarkable thing about the afternoon. Richmond are now 10 points clear at the top of Division 3 with 34 points from 12 games. They haven’t conceded a home goal all season. Seven home wins from seven. They haven’t lost away either. Their squad carries the highest rating of any club in the entire league.
This isn’t a title race anymore in Division 3 – it’s a procession. The only remaining questions worth asking are whether Richmond can keep this up for another 18 weeks, and who finishes second.
| Pos | Club | Pts | GD |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Richmond | 34 | +21 |
| 2 | Fulchester United | 24 | +8 |
| 3 | Gwent Saints | 21 | +3 |
| 4 | Real Braintree | 21 | +2 |
| 5 | AFC Navenby | 19 | -1 |
💡 Fulchester United keep the pressure on Richmond in theory – a 1-0 win over AFC Navenby, Saunders scoring in the 70th minute – but with a 10-point gap and Richmond showing no signs of slipping, second place may be the summit Tommy Brown is realistically climbing toward.
Further down, St Venage Borough put on a show in a 3-1 win at Mount Florida AFC – Gittings with a brace either side of Maamria in the second half. The Borough move up to 7th and look capable of pushing into the promotion places if results continue to go their way. Meanwhile, Tottenham Coldspur lost 2-0 at home to Portsea City – Layden and Fromm the scorers – and remain rooted to the bottom on 6 points. They have now gone five consecutive games without a league goal, a run that is becoming a storyline of its own.
⚠️ Tottenham Coldspur have scored in just one of their last seven league games. Five in a row without finding the net, and just 6 points from 12 games. The dugout is empty – this club is being run by the Supremos Circuit and it shows. Without a manager, the goalscoring drought is unlikely to end any time soon.
💛 Division 4 – Three-way pile-up at the top as Abbey United slip
Division 4 produced the most drama of any division this week. Abbey United – who came into the match as leaders – lost 1-0 at home to Grove Old Boys, Bartholomew’s 21st-minute goal enough to take the points and scramble the table entirely. Tantany Rangers, who were sitting third, beat Hillgrove United 2-0 (Buchanan 2′, Simmonds 72′) to go top. Brompton Hotspur beat Quinton Athletic 2-0 (Manfredi 18′, Maradona 67′). And Grove Old Boys’ win took them level with Abbey United on 21 points.
Four clubs on 20 or 21 points with 18 games left. This division is going to give plenty of managers sleepless Sunday evenings.

| 3 | Grove Old Boys | 21 | +6 |
| 4 | Abbey United | 21 | +5 |
| 5 | Quinton Athletic | 20 | +4 |
💡 Joburg Shongololo produced the result of the week in Division 4, sweeping past Tottenham Mustangs 3-0 – Saka with a brace (17′, 52′) and Biermann adding a third in the 79th minute. Ian Dance’s side move to 8th but are only 6 points off top spot. Nobody in this division can afford to relax.
Anfield Rockets produced a welcome result at the other end of the table, beating Thetford Tigers 3-1 with Huxford scoring twice (5′, 51′) and Brown adding a third in the 83rd. It lifts them off the bottom two, though at 9 points they still have plenty of work to do.
🏆 Supremos Cup – Round 1
This week saw the first round of the Supremos Cup played out alongside the regular fixtures – 32 ties, no second chances. The standout scoreline of the round came from Carrotasaray, who required a penalty shootout to edge past Leicester Lightening 7-6. Hillgrove United survived a similarly nerve-shredding shootout against Joburg Shongololo, 5-4 on penalties after the teams couldn’t be separated in normal time.
Busby Babes United were the most convincing winners of the round, putting four past Delboys Hellboys without reply. Richmond, as you might expect, also came through – but required penalties to see off BK Rovers 5-4, which raises a mild eyebrow given their league dominance. West London Blue were comfortable, beating Rotherham Town 3-0. Thetford Tigers pulled off the round’s biggest upset, winning 3-1 at Harchester United.
Round 2 is scheduled for Week 15. The prize money begins in earnest there – £100,000 for those who go out at that stage, rising to £1,000,000 for the winner.
| Round | Week | Prize (losers) |

| Quarter-Finals | TBC | £250,000 |

🔎 The wider league picture
The best-attended ground in the league continues to be Team Van Holland’s Van Der Kuip, averaging 45,327 – a number that would be the envy of most Division 1 clubs. Supremos and Camden Town are close behind, both pushing toward 39,750. Tintagel Knights bring the lowest away support at an average of just 4,097 travelling fans per game – not surprising for a newly managed club finding its feet.
On discipline, Alveley Wolves are the worst-behaved side in Division 2 by a distance – 148 disciplinary points, more than double the next worst in that division. In Division 1, Amity Rovers lead the naughty table with 100 points despite their notably uneventful 0-0s. The five games without a defeat thing clearly comes at a cost in terms of yellow cards.
🔍 Richmond top the attacking squad rankings for the entire league – and they lead Division 3 by 10 points. There’s no mystery here: quality going forward combined with a defence that has yet to concede a home goal is a formula that works. The question, as always in a long season, is whether it holds.
👋 Community and arrivals
Four new managers took their seats in the dugout this week. Luke Finnegan steps in at Harchester United, who sit 9th in Division 2 with a record that suggests there’s more in this squad than it’s been showing – their last five home games have produced 8 goals and just 2 conceded. Muresca takes charge of Rotherham Town in Division 4, currently 10th and with something to play for. Alan Latchley inherits Crazy Aces FC in Division 2, who are 15th and need a response fast. And Steven Coupe arrives at Tintagel Knights in Division 4, who were unmanaged and have climbed to 12th. Welcome to all four.
The score draw pool had four correct score draws this week but no manager guessed the combination correctly. The pool rolls over to £1,600,000. It’s there for the taking.
Vale Madrid in Division 2 remain without a manager. In Division 3, Real Braintree, Ilkeston Rams, Silversprings United, and Tottenham Coldspur are all unmanaged. In Division 4, Smackdown Rovers, Thetford Tigers, and Woodfarm Warriors are all currently run by the Supremos Circuit. Several of those clubs are in positions where a manager arriving now could make a real difference – Real Braintree sit 4th in Division 3, and Smackdown Rovers are 6th in Division 4.
