October 2025 – Newsletter

⚽ Soccer Supremos October Newsletter

Hello Managers,

Here’s your October update on all things Soccer Supremos! It’s been a busy time, with new features in development and plenty of ideas on how to keep evolving the game. The three big topics this month are:

1️⃣ Turn Results Are Evolving: Now in Two Parts
2️⃣ More Newsletters Coming Your Way
3️⃣ New Leagues… Maybe?!

📑 Turn Results Are Evolving: Now in Two Parts

Starting the week of 13th October, your turn results will be split into two PDF files:

  • Manager’s Report – Your club’s personal report. Same look and feel as now, but reduced by around 50%, containing only your club, squad, and stadium info.

  • Matchday Magazine – A new shared document for all managers in your league. It will include fixtures, results, league tables, transfers, gossip, and more. Think of it as your league’s “football programme”!

Why the change?
Processing turn results is now taking 3–4 hours each week, mainly due to generating over 2,500 pages across all managers. Splitting them will reduce processing time and let me add richer content over time.

What’s next?

  • More detailed divisional summaries (not just your division).

  • Half-page match reports and stats on all televised games.

  • Room for new, creative features in future updates.

📰 Newsletters, Newsletters, Newsletters

Right now, you receive this monthly newsletter (covering features and game updates). But I’m planning to add two more:

  • Supremos Scoop – Community-driven, in-game newsletter. Articles, stats, gossip, and stories across all leagues. Inspired by the old days, but now free and more frequent (likely quarterly). First issue hopefully out before year-end.

  • Football Management PBM (working title) – An ad-hoc newsletter featuring all active football management PBMs. It would share updates, articles, and reviews from players across different games, helping to build a wider PBM community. It could even include adverts for each other’s games.

👉 Got name ideas for this second newsletter? Send them my way!

🚨 New Leagues – What?!

Currently, we’re running 3 active leagues. For now, that’s enough to manage, but…

If:

  • all leagues stay healthy and full, and

  • I make good progress on completing core features,

…then I may consider starting a 4th league in the New Year. This isn’t a promise, just something I’m open to if demand is there.

Would you be interested in seeing new leagues added? Your feedback here will help guide the decision.

✅ That’s a Wrap

That’s all for this month’s newsletter. Plenty is happening behind the scenes, and I’m excited to share more as things progress.

Until next time,
Gads
