Starting this month, the newsletter will be available both via email and directly on the Soccer Supremos website—so you’ll never miss an update.
Let’s dive in—there’s plenty to cover this time.
⚙️ Game Feature Update – Now Live!
I’ve just rolled out a major game engine update along with a freshly revised Rulebook! Be sure to download the latest edition here:
📘 Soccer Supremos Rulebook – 5th Edition
🔁 1. Rename a Player (League 3 Only)
Managers in Fictitious League 3 can now fully rename one player per turn—on top of the nickname feature that’s still available across all leagues. A great way to personalize new signings or clubs under new management.
🦶 2. Player Footedness Revealed
You can now view whether players are left-footed, right-footed, or both! This info is available in the For Sale Lists section of your weekly results.
🌟 3. Star Players Hit the Circuit
Elite “Star Players” are now appearing on the Circuit! They’re rare, pricey, and powerful—perfect for top squads with cash to spare.
Coming soon: Star Non-Playing Members!
🔄 4. New Loan Listing: ‘For Loan’
I’ve added a new order: ‘For Loan’, letting you list players or NPMs on the For Sale list for temporary moves.
The previous loan function is now renamed ‘Loan Out’ for clarity.
📈 5. Relaxed Circuit Rules + Higher Earnings
- No more age or rating restrictions
- Sellers now earn 80% (up from 50%) on successful MARKET sales
💼 6. New Selling Option: DIRECT Circuit Sales
You now have two ways to sell to the Circuit:
- MARKET: Auction to the highest bidder (you earn 80%)
- DIRECT: Instant sale to the Circuit for 50% of market value
These features are live now. Dive in, try them out, and let me know your feedback! ⚽
⚽ Three Leagues… and That’s a Wrap!
With all three leagues now up and running, that’s it—no new leagues are planned for the future.
My focus going forward is to keep every league active, engaging, and manager‑driven. Expect the same personal service, clock‑work turnarounds, and a steady stream of engine tweaks and new features. 🔧📈
A big part of this vision is making unmanaged clubs more attractive to new and returning managers. Below are the latest improvements designed to make club takeovers smoother and more rewarding.
